How-To-Vote Recommendations

A message from James Gooden – Independent for Riverina

In the lead-up to this election, I’ve had many conversations with voters about preferences — where they go, how they’re decided, and what they really mean.

As an Independent, I’m not bound by party deals or donor influence. The how-to-vote card is a recommendation only — based on areas of policy alignment with other candidates on key regional issues such as agriculture, infrastructure, and community representation.

That doesn’t mean I agree with every position held by every candidate listed. It means I’ve considered where our values overlap, and how preferences can best reflect what matters to the people of the Riverina.

At the end of the day, your vote is your choice. The most important thing is that you number every box to make your vote count.

Thank you for taking the time to vote — and for standing up for your community.
